Our aim at Davington is to ensure all children are taught well and have good learning opportunities throughout the curriculum so that every child can make or exceed expected progress.
Pupils take national tests in May when they reach the end of key stage 2. These test skills in:
- English reading
- English grammar, punctuation and spelling (GPS)
- The tests last less than 4 hours and your school will get the results in July
- Parents will receive a copy of their child's results with their child's school report in July
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, most exams and assessments did not take place in 2019/20 or 2020/21. As a result of this, the government announced that it would not publish school or college level results data in autumn 2020 or autumn 2021. For further information on what this means for the way school accountability will operate for 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22 can be found here.
