Congratulations on being awarded Davington Primary School for your child.  I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Davington school community. 

Transition Arrangements

Your child will be invited to three transition sessions of 45 minutes each during Term 6.  The children will be organised by nurseries for these sessions to help with familiarity. This will also help our information gathering when we meet with nurseries in June. Please e-mail the school office (office@davington.kent.sch.uk) to confirm which nursery your child attends. 

SESSION 1:  

Children and parents are invited to visit the Reception classrooms and outside learning environment, where there will be a number of activities to enjoy.

SESSION 2 and SESSION 3:

The children will be invited into school in small groups enjoying some class activities.  Parents may stay for this session or leave your children in the safe hands of the Reception staff whilst you enjoy a cup of tea.

You will be informed of your child’s transition session dates and times shortly. 

Tuesday 4^th July at 7pm

I shall be hosting an information Evening for parents in the school hall.  Members of staff from Year R, Mrs Halson (Deputy Headteacher), Mrs Davison (Assistant Headteacher/Inclusion manager), After School Club, Breakfast Club and the staff from our kitchen will be available to chat to and to share information. 

If you have not already returned your supporting address documents for yourself and your child along with your child’s birth certificate, please do so this week.
